Job Posting – Parent Support Navigator

Healthy Families is a nationally accredited, community-based voluntary home visiting program proven to prevent child abuse and neglect.  Parent Educators receive intensive pre-service and ongoing training in order to provide information, guidance, emotional and practical support to families who have been identified as being at-risk of abusing or neglecting their children.

Applicants must have, at a minimum, the following:  high school diploma or GED, one year experience working with children and families of diverse cultures in diverse settings, knowledge of infant & child development and the ability to establish trusting relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries.  Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance.
